Mercer’s Accounting major provides a concentration in financial and managerial accounting principles that prepare students for careers in public accounting firms, corporations, government services, or as an independent certified public accountant (CPA).
General Business
The General Business major focuses on broad business knowledge with the technical expertise and management skills required by companies today. Rigorous courses and hands-on projects expose students to a wide variety of business disciplines and methodologies.
Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management major leads students to become effective HR managers in a variety of business settings and with the skills to help form the way companies and organizations operate and grow.
Management
Mercer’s Management major enables graduates to successfully serve as liaisons between companies and clients, oversee and direct sales teams, guide and motivate associates toward project goals, and carry out the vision of a department or new business venture.
Marketing
The Marketing major allows students to develop and refine the analytical, planning, and implementation skills necessary to build rewarding careers in and beyond the areas of marketing, advertising, promotion, and sales.
Supply Chain Management
Mercer’s Supply Chain Management major equips students with the knowledge and skills to manage and coordinate all of the logistical aspects of a business, including receiving and handling, internal allocation of resources, and distribution of finished products to customers.
